League Council Decides Not to Consider Hungarian Numerus Clausus Question

The failure of the Hungarian government to fulfill its promise to abolish the numerus clausus will not come up for discussion at the present session of the Council of the League of Nations, it was learned here.

It was stated that the Council has decided not to deal with this matter at the present meeting.

Lucien Wolf, representative of the Joint Foreign Committee of the Board of Jewish Deputies and the Anglo-Jewish Association, as well as the Alliance Israelite Universelle, submitted another memorandum to the Council on the question of the numerus clausus in Hungary.
