Sholom Asch, moted Yiddish novelist and playwright, was feted here last night at a banquet given by the Association of Jewish Writers and Journalists.
The ###anquet was arranged on the occasion of Mr. Asch’s departure for France. Mr. Asth read fragments of a new drama at the gathering.
