Ukrainian Zik Seals Fate of Kiev Synagogue

The fate of the Brodsky synagogue in Kiev, the largest synagogue in the Ukraine, was sealed when the praesidium of the Ukrainian Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party confirmed the decision of the Executive Committee of Kiey to convert the synagogue into a workingmen’s club. The decision of the Committee was taken at the request of the Jewish Section of the Communist Party.
