The contention that the Hebrew language is victorious in Soviet Russia in spite of the persecutions directed against it was made by Reuben Brainin, American Hebrew writer, at a reception given in his honor last night by the Organization for Hebrew Culture recently formed here.

The vitality of Hebrew is shown by the fact that Hebrew is victorious in Russia in spite of the persecutions, he stated. It is necessary to concentrate all efforts for the creation of a large organization for Hebrew culture because the small Hebrew groups when left to themselves are doomed to failure, he stated.
