Keith Roach Appointed Jerusalem Administrator

Keith Roach was appointed administrator of the city of Jerusalem, which now constitutes a separate administrative unit, according to an official announcement of the Palestine government.

The status of the Jerusalem administrator will be Deputy District Commissioner and he will be under the direct jurisidiction of the Chief Secretary of the Palestine government.

J. F. Campbell will remain district commissioner of Southern Palestine, exclusive of the Jerusalem area.

Sir Ronald Storrs, former governor of Jerusalem, has arrived here to liquidate his work prior to his departure for Cyprus to assume his duties as governor of the island.
