The Social Democratic municipal government of the city of Vienna was charged with anti Jewish discrimination, at a meeting of the Council of the Viennese Kultusgemeinde.

The charges were made by Mr. Plaschkes, who stated that the Social Democrats are conducting an anti-Jewish policy which is calculated to ruin the Jewish population of Vienna economically. He also stated that the municipal government under the social democrats excludes Jews from civil positions and does not support Jewish institutions.
