Miguel Sherbelis, well known Jewish athlete, died here today. Death was due to apoplexy.
At the call of a provisional organization committee, composed of Irving Rosenzweig, Mrs. Sol Rosenbloom, David Freiberger, Dr. David De Sola Pool. Isaac Carmel, and Rabbi Israel Goldstein, held at the St. Regis Hotel, New York, plans were adopted for a farewell performance of the Habima troupe prior to their departure from American in May.
