claim of £50,000 against the Palestine government was presented in the Palestine government was presented in the Palestine court by Mrs. Templeton, widow of the late Sir Oliphant, the famous Palestinophile.

The claim rests on the contention that the land upon which the Haifa railway station was built was appropriated by the Turkish government in 1907.
