Lespesianu Released After Twelve Day Hunger Strike

Lespesianu, the Jewish student who was held in prison for three months because he fired in self-defense when attacked by Roumanian students, was released following a 12-day hunger strike.

The release was ordered following the insistent demand of public opinion. Lespesianu was already in the prison hospital.
