The Roumanian Liberal party under the leadership of Premier Bratianu, who was supported by the Jewish population on the basis of an agreement with the Union of Roumanian Jews, gained an overwhelning victory in the parliamentary elections concluded today. Both anti-Semitic parties failed to secure seats in parliament.

The government has intervened with the University of Bucharest to allow the University of Bucharest to allow the Jewish students who were prevented from taking examinations due to the anti-Semitic excesses, to take the final examinations now.
