The Government, it is stated, is insisting on further reductions being made in the budget of the Tel Aviv Municipality so that the budget should be balanced entirely by the end of the financial year. It also demands that the salaries of all Municipal officials should be reduced, including those of the elected officials, the Mayor and the heads of departments.

The Official Gazette publishes a notice by the Secretary of the Central Towa Planning Commission to the effect that a Town Planning Scheme for the development of the area of Tel Aviv has been deposited, together with the relative plans, at the offices of the Twnship of Tel Aviv.
