Cabled reports from London to the effect that Louis Marshall had expressed his dissatisfaction with the decisions of the Fifteenth Zionist Congress in Basle were denied by Mr. Marshall, according to the Jewish Morning Journal.
The newspaper published a London cable based on a report in the London Jewish Post, which alleged that the Zionist Executive in London was in receipt of a cable from Mr. Marshall expressing dissatisfaction with the Congress decisions. The Post’s report called forth wide discussion in London Zionist circles.
An attempt was made to verify the report with the Zionist Executive. The Executive, however, neither confirmed nor denied the report.
The Morning Journal quotes Mr. Marshall as saying that “there is not a single word of truth in the report. I never sent such a cable.”
