Jacob Epstein, famous sculptor, who has been a resident in England for the last twenty-five years, returned to New York, the city of his birth, Friday on the steamer Berengaria.
It was stated that Mr. Epstein plans to remain in America permanently if any encouragement is offered for his work. An exhibition of his work will be given in New York and in Buffalo.
Sam L. Warner, Vice President of Warner Brothers Pictures, Inc., motion picture producers, died in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
Sam L. Warner was one of those who went into the motion picture business when it was in its infancy, and with his three brothers. Harry M., Albert M. and Jack, built up the producing and distributing firm known as Warner Brothers.
