Fifteen persons were wounded in a skirmish which developed between a group of Bedouins and Jewish colonists in the Herzliah settlement, a colony established by the American Zion Commonwealth.
When the Bedouins pastured their sheep on land of the colony, the Jewish settlers attempted to expel them. The group of Bedouins, whose number was added to by Arabs of the neighborhood who were celebrating a wedding, attacked the Jewish settlers.
