The Hungarian Government’s numerus clausus reform is spurious and ineffective, declares the “Paix et Droit,” the organ of the Alliance Israelite Universelle in an article headed “Hungarian False Money.”

“Hungary is indebted to European opinion,” the paper declares, ” and must discharge her debt loyally. She will make a profound mistake if she imagines she is able to pass this spurious coin.”
