A seminary for the training of rabbis to serve the Jewish communities of Italy will soon be opened at Rhodes. The seminary is being established by the Italian government.
The Italian press in commenting upon this announcement stresses the importance of creating “a university of Judaism” for the Near East. The establishment of an Italian university at Rhodes was also announced.
