That it is easier to collect $1,000,000 among the Jews of America than £1,000 among Jews in England was asserted by Dr. D. Jochelman, chairman of the Federation of Ukrainian Jews in London.

At a meeting arranged by the Executive Committee of the United Jewish Relief Federation, to welcome Dr. Jochelman on his return from the United States, he paid tribute to the work of the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee which he termed the most powerful Jewish relief organization. Notwithstanding the present business conditions in America, the Jews still subscribe generously for relief.

A plan of cooperation with the American Federation of Ukrainian Jews was decided upon by the executive.
