Orthodox Zionists Assemble in Danzig for World Conference

The world conference of the Mizrachi, Orthodox Zionist organization, will open here Saturday night. Representatives from many countries will be present.

The American organization is represented by Gedaliah Bublick, president, Rabbi Wolf Gold of Brooklyn, vice-president; Rabbi Aaron Teitelbaum, Rabbi Charlap, Boruch Shwarz and Mr. Dauber, who have already arrived here.

Special services will be held in the Great Synagogue of Danzig, prior to the opening of the conference.

The League of Nations High Commissioner for the Free City of Danzig. Van Hammel, will attend the opening session at the invitation of a special delegation headed by Rabbi Sagalowitz of Danzig and Mr. Segal, president of the Danzig Zionist Organization.

A conference of the Mizrachi youth organizations, including the Ha’poal Ha’Mizrachi, Zeiri Ha’Mizrachi and Chaluzei Ha’Mizrachi, was held here with thirty-six delegates in attendance. The conference decided to name the new Mizrachi labor colony in the Valley of Jezreel after Samuel Landau, late member of the Mizrachi World Executive.
