The introduction of a prohibition of intoxicating liquors will be advocated by the Ruthenian organizations in Eastern Galicia, it was announced today.
The leaders will seek to procure legislation that the issue be decided by plebescite. If put into effect, the prohibition would affect a considerable number of Jewish innkeepers, who hold licenses for the sale of beverages.
