A tablet to the memory of Jewish soldiers who fell in the World War was unveiled yesterday at the Kustendil Synagogue.
The impressive ceremony was attended by representatives of the civil and military authorities. The military commander of the town extolled the bravery of Bulgarian Jews, in his address at the exercises.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
