Approximately seventy-five Jewish families are completely destitute as a result of the recent hurricane which swept this section of the country.
The families are now being cared for by a local committee formed for the purpose of again placing them in a position to establish themselves. Funds are needed immediately to assist in the work. H. Gold is treasurer of the Jewish Rehabilitation Committee of Congregation Beth El.
