Professor Simon Askenasi, the famous Polish Jewish historian, will be appointed Poland’s representative to the League of Nations.

Prof. Askenasi held this post some time ago by appointment of the Paderewski government. When the National Democrats came into power he was recalled from Geneva because of an anti-Semitic campaign conducted against him.
