Medical aid had to be administered to 15 Jewish pupils of the secondary school in a Transylvanian town because of terrific beatings at the hands of a Roumanian teacher.

The “Yiddishe Volkszcitung” of Marmorosh reports this fact from Upper Vishov, Transylvania. Semyan Tancu, the teacher, beat the Jewish children for refusing to attend school on Saturday.
