Jewish National Fund Acquires 22,000 Dunam of Haifa Bay Land

An area of 22,000 dunam of land in the Haifa Bay valley was acquired by the Jewish National Found the land purchasing agency of the Zionist Organization for purposing of holding it as the inalienable property of the Jewish people, it was announced here today.

An area of 5,000 dunam in the same neighborhood has been transfered to the Palestine Economic Corporation.

The land possessions of the Jewish National Fund in the Acre valley have reached a total of 33,000 dunam.

The directors of the Jewish National Fund in making public this announcement express their hope that they will he able to meet the new obligation undertaken with the help of friends and supporters of the Fund in appreciation of the successful consummnation of the purchase which guarantees the national character of the important Acre valley which is destined to he a most valuable spot in the Jewish National Home.
