A special commission representing the Communist Party and the Comsomel, Communist Youth Organization, left for the coal mine district. The commission will investigate conditions in the coal mines, where, according to charges published in the “Consomolskaya Pravda,” anti-Semitism is practiced by the workers. The Jewish miners, it was reported, were insulted by their comrades and in the mines Altchevsk and Kalievki, they were compelled to descend into the shaft in the elevator separately.
