The candidacy of Judge Otto A. Rosalsky of the Court of General Sessions for the Republican nomination for Mayor is being considered in Republican circles, in connection with the plans now being formulated for next year’s municipal campaign.

Judge Rosalsky’s candidacy is urged because of the announcement that former Mayor John F. Hylan will run independently. This is expected to so split the Democratic vote as to enable a Republican of Judge Rosalsky’s populartity to be elected.
