Committee of Seven to Plan Agrarianization and Industrialization (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)

A committee of seven to seek ways and means of improving the economic situation of Russian Jews through a planned program of agrarianization and industrialization was chosen yesterday at a session of the praesidium of the National Minorities Council.

The plan was presented at the meeting by Soviet Vice-President Smidovitch, A. Dimanstein was chosen chairman of the committee which was charged with the task of preparing concrete proposals for presentation to the praesidium of the All Russian Central Executive Committee.
