Budapest Paper Reports Anti-semitic Riot in Roumanian Town

The occurrence of an anti-Semitic student riot in Buzeu, Moldavia, Roumania, is reported in a despatch from Bucharest to the “Pester Lloyd” today.

Two Jewish merchants were seriously injured during the attack of the student group on Jewish stores. The Jewish merchants offered resistance to their assailants, the report states.

No verification of this report was received from Roumania.
