The annual prize in literature awarded in the name of Bernard Heinrich Wilhelm von Kleist, eighteenth century German poet and dramatist, was awarded to Anna Sehgers.

Anna Sehgers is the nom de plume of a Jewish woman, the daughter of a Jewish art dealer of Mainz, Isidor Neilin.
