Nationalist Press Rejoices over Steeg’s Resignation

The resignation of Senator M. Steeg from his post as Resident General of Moroco is joyously commented upon by the French nationalist newspapers.

The “Amidu Peuple” charges that during Senator Steeg’s term of office a “regime of cowardice took root in Morocco.”
