Louis P. Aloe, former president of the Board of Aldermen, died here after a long illness. He had been prominent in the community for many years and was a candidate for the Republican nomination for mayor four years ago.

Dormant for almost a year, the Camden, N. J., Y. M. and Y. W. H. A. has been re-organized and has re-dedicated its renovated building.

The Y. M. and Y. W. H. A. will seek a membership of 1,000. All of the local Jewish organizations have pledged their aid in the campaign. Henry W. Brande, president of the Philadelphia Y. M. and Y. W. H. A., was the speaker at the exercises. Camden suffers somewhat from its proximity to Philadephia, which attracts many of the youth of Camden and its suburbs.
