The Graf Zeppelin is expected to reach Palestine next Wednesday, the German Consul here announced. The airship will not be permitted to land in Palestine nor to fly over Transjordania, the Consul declared. It will pass along the Palestine-Syrian coast, dropping mail bags.
The British Foreign Office recently declared that it would receive unfavorably a request that the Zeppelin be permitted to fly to Egypt and Palestine. Subsequently Captain Hugo Eckener announced that the airship would make her flight to Palestine having as passengers Dr. Paul Loebe, president of the German Parliament and members of the Prussian parliament. Their itinerary included visits to the Wailing Wall and the Tomb of Rachel.
