Arouses to a high pitch of excitement by an inflammatory address of the notorious anti-Semitic agitator, Muenchmeyer, former pastor, a mob led by members of the National Socialist party stormed the synagogue at Arnsberg, near Bochum.

The mob smashed the windows of the synagogue and attempted to break in the door. Much damage was done to the building of the Jewish school nearby. The police were called, restoring order. Five arrests were made.
