Janina Kurlandski, 27, a student of the University of Warsaw, was the only member of her family who remained a Jewess. The others, including father and mother, embraced Catholicism.
Yesterday, she was found dead. A bottle of poison was found near her. From intimate talks with her Jewish friends at the university it was gathered that of late the young woman was very unhappy over the impossibility of getting along with her family, due to their baptism. She ended her tragedy by ending her life.
