An honorary doctor’s degree was conferred upon Prof. Albert Einstein today by the University of Paris. It is the first to be awarded to a German since the war.
Several thousand persons witnessed the cornerstone laying of the new Bergen County Y. M. Y. W. H. A. Building in Hackensack, N. J. The structure is being erected at a cost of $200,000.
