The $1,000,000 campaign to complete the financing of the Bronx Hospital was inaugurated at a banquet at the Hotel Astor, New York. Thursday night, at which $860,000 were pledged.
The total cost of the structure will exceed $2,000,000, more than $1,000,000 of which was raised in a previous campaign. The present fund will cover cost of equipment and furnishings, as well as the balance of construction costs.

Altschul and Samuel Golding, $50,000; Bernard London, $42,500; Philip Pearlman Alexander Selkin and John Shevell, $37,500; Felix Lacks and Abraham Wechsler, $30,000; Jacob and Emil Leitner, $25,000; Joseph G. Abramson, $20,000; M. Smolenoff, $17,500; Abraham Weisman, $15,000; Junior League of Bronx Hospital, $12,500; Nathan Greenberg and anonymous. $10,000.
