The Bloch Publishing Company announces a volume which will appear toward the end of June. Louis D. Brandeis: A Biegraphical Sketch, by Jacob do Haas with special reference to his work in the Zionist movement.
The dramatic story of Brandeis’ entrance into the Zionist movement the “break” with Dr. Wehmann in London in 1921 and the consequent “split” in American Zionism in 1921, are described.
A facsimile of Lord Reading’s Zionist plan with Mr. Srandeis’ annotations on this historic document, now first reproduced, will be included. The “life” is preceded by a chapter on the passing of Jewish leadership from Europe to America, and it is followed by a complete set of Mr. Brandefs’ Jewish and Zionist addresses ### from 1912 to 1924, which have been revised for this volume by Justice Brandeis Several portraits taken at different periods of his life will be included.
