Judge William M. Lewis of Philadelphia, chairman of the national campaign for the United Palestine Appeal, was in Denver for the opening of the local campaign to raise $25,000.

Rabbi Samuel S. Meyerberg of Kansas City also was in Denver for the opening of the drive. The opening campaign dinner was attended by about 100 prominent local Jews, and the mayor of the city. B. F. Stapleton.

A. B. Cowen is chairman of the local committee.
