A new apparatus, said to be a great improvement on the American ones now in use for “talkie” films, was invented by David Shorin, formerly a Jewish merchant of Leningrad.
The apparatus has found the approval of motion picture experts in Russia and is now being manufactured for distribution in the theatres, it is announced here.
