Sassoon Gets Retiring Government Honor

Sir Philip Sassoon Under-Secretary of the State for Air in the Baldwin Cabinet, was among the retiring government members to receive honors. A Privy Councillorship was conferred upon Sir Philip, who was included by the outgoing cabinet in its list of “dissolution honors” of loyal party supporters, submitted to the King by the new government.
