Financial aid for the Habimah Troupe, Hebrew players, has been granted by Max Warburg, Hamburg banker and brother of Felix M. Warburg. The sum of £1,000 annually will be given to the Troupe by Mr. Warburg over a period of three years. The Habimah Players are now preparing to leave for an extended European tour.
It is understood that Mr. Warburg’s assistance to the Troupe came following an investigation by the Palestine Zionist Executive into the financial standing and prospects of the Habimah Troupe.
