The Russian Jewish sculptor, Strazh, famous for his statues of Socialist and Bolshevik leaders, was the victim over a number of years of persecutions at the hands of his neighbors, because he is a Jew.
Strazh suffered the torments in silence until his friend brought the facts to light in the Moscow press. The authorities have taken action against the neighbors, it was stated, and the Jewish sculptor was given another place to live where he might continue his work undisturbed.
