It was stated that the Iron Wolf which supported the Waldemaras government planned a march on Kovno, following the resignation of the Waldemaras cabinet for the purpose of declaring Lithuania a Fascist state in imitation of the Fascist march on Rome.

The Iron Wolf was said to have been responsible for the recent anti-Jewish excesses in Slobodka and the frequent attacks on the Jewish population in the provincial towns.
