Communists Assert Connection Severed with Arab Executive

Admitting that the Communists in Palestine at one time cooperated with the official leaders of the Arab movement, Communist leaders here denied that they now have connections with the Arab Executive. All connections with the Arab Executive were severed on the eve of the Seventh Arab Congress held in July of last year, Communists here declared in a statement to the representative of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.

The correspondent queried the Communist leaders on a despatch published by the “Jewish Daily Forward” of New York from its Jerusalem correspondent, Chaim Lieberman. Reporting on a black list of Arab leaders and Communists in Palestine who are being watched by the police. Mr. Lieberman drew the conclusion that the government suspects Arab leaders and Communists plotted the recent excesses.
