The Palestine government will grant only one-half of the six thousand immigration certificates demanded by the Zionist Executive it is understood here although no official reply has been made to the Zionist proposal. At the end of three months, it is believed, the government will reconsider the question.

The Government’s reluctance to grant the Zionist Executive the entire six months’ schedule outright is believed to be due to political motives since economically the figures of the Zionist Executive are considered to be justified.
