Emigration Bank to Be Established

The establishment of an emigration bank was decided upon at the first meeting of the members of the Jewish Agency Council in Poland. All Polish members of the Agency participated in the meeting.

The purpose of the bank will be to facilitate the emigration of Jewish workers to Palestine.

A new Executive of the Keren Hayesod, which is the fund raising organ of the Jewish Agency, was formed. Twelve members were elected, six Zionists and six non-Zionists. The Agency Executive in Poland will consist of sixteen members, eight Zionists and eight non-Zionists.
