Because of new anti-Semitic tendencies invading the Austrian Socialist party, the resignation of all of the Jewish board members of the Austrian Labor Football Union was forced, despite the fact that the ousted Jews are veteran party members and organizers of the Football Union. The newspaper “Sport Montage,” which is considered the organ of the Labor Sports Clubs, energetically opposes anti-Semitic actions of the Labor Football Union. The Poale Zion newspaper also accuses the Austrian Socialists of anti-Semitism in other instances.
