Sponsored by prominent Jews throughout the Dominion, and including on its board the majority of Toronto Jews who are leaders in industry and philanthropy, a new Jewish weekly, the “Jewish Standard,” has been incorporated, and will issue its first edition in January.
This announcement comes after a protest against the editorial policy of the “Canadian Jewish Review,” which the Zionists have claimed has been attacking their cause by allowing Rabbi M. Eisendrath to publish a series of articles regarding the Jews in Palestine.
The editor of the new paper will be Hyman Edelstein of Montreal.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
