Rabbi Louis I. Newman, now rabbi of Temple Emanuel, San Francisco, will return to New York after five years, as rabbi of the Congregation Rodeph Sholom. Until 1925 Dr. Newman was associated with Rabbi Stephen S. Wise and he was then chosen leader of the San Francisco congregation.
