Delay Confirmation of Jewish Member of Hungarian Senate

The upper house of the Hungarian parliament has delayed confirmation of the election of the banker Frenkl as senator to represent Hungarian Jewish orthodoxy, while a parliamentary committee is waiting to hear from the Ministries of Justice and Cults as to the propriety of Frenkl’s election, since Frenkl up to now was no rabbi.
